Rawson Projects is proud to announce its first catalogue Sam Martineau: Fair Touching. The catalogue was published to accompany the artist’s second solo exhibition at the gallery, which was presented during the gallery's second anniversary.
Martineau, who works in consistent scale or size, approaches his work with a very hands-on creative/visual process and makes paintings that explore various surfaces as "a place to put thoughts and actions."
With an essay by Alexandra Whitney, the catalogue is fully illustrated with fourteen color plates as well as a selection of related works on paper, the results of his studio practice that range from drawing, to collage, to writing.
